Lately it feels like Jennifer and I are revolving doors.
Revolving doors are good for one thing, letting people go around them all day long. People go in and people go out.
It feels like this because every time we try to catch our breath or sneak a private moment for just the two of us, something comes up.
Namely, two things come up: Rylee & Gavin.
Now, we love our kids. We have been blessed with great kids. But sometimes you need a break. Sometimes you have to take a moment for yourself.
You have to sneak those moments in. You may be a mom and a dad, but you are also a husband and a wife. You are also a man and a woman.
Make sure your kids know you love them and want to spend time with them. But also help them understand that sometimes you need “mommy and daddy” time.
