I’m sitting here next to a fire on my back porch, listening to my friends talk about life and the year past.
It’s a quiet night, a beautiful night to ring in the new year with friends and family.
About this time of year we all start to really think about our past year; all our mistakes, all our successes, all our missed opportunities.
It’s about this time we start to set our new years resolutions. And if you are like me you set more unrealistic goals then ever before.
If you are like me you will set many goals of which you will accomplish few.
But if you ask me, it is better to dream and accomplish only a few than to not dream big at all.
So my wish for you and me is that we would dream big, live big and make the most of 2013.
The thing that is great about New Years is that it starts a new year for us to start fresh. To erase all past mistakes and shoot for a better tomorrow.
There is hope for tomorrow.
My hope lies in the fact that I know I get a fresh start in Jesus Christ.
My goal for the new year is to live more fully for Him; the bringer of my Hope.
I pray the same for you.
