Open Windows

There is this interesting story in the Bible about a man named Daniel. Daniel is captive and works for the King of the Medes (long story), named Darius.

Long story short, a law is passed that no person should be found praying to anyone or anything other than the king or they will be killed.

So what does Daniel do? He goes to his room, opens the windows for the world to see and prays, three times a day. No fear of the consequences.

It made me think, what am I showing the world?

Am I that daring?

Am I more afraid of what the world might think, the consequences, or more afraid of not being with my God?

Am I brave enough to “open my windows” and show the world exactly what I believe and how much I believe it?

Daniel did, and he changed a nation.

Imagine what we could do if we showed the world what we truly believed in, not just through our words, but through our actions.

We might find wars ending, poverty slowing down, hate crimes diminishing, injustices being stopped. The sky’s the limit.

What are you showing the world?
