So who dropped the ball?
I remember people taking the time to explain to me the “gospel” of Jesus.
I remember people spending quality time with me to make sure I saw what Jesus looked like and acted like.
I remember people teaching me what is “required” to be a Christian.
I remember people baptizing me.
Then I don’t remember much after.
I don’t if many of you can relate to this or not.
I was discipled up until I gave my life to Christ and then my discipling stopped. I was left to figure the rest out on my own.
But this is not the way it is suppose to be. We are never at a stage that we don’t need a disciple-maker, a mentor, a coach. Because we are constantly learning and growing.
And you are never to be so busy that you stop discpling others as well.
The model we are given by Jesus is one of being a disciple and making disciples; and that is never to stop.
